University Park

University Park will provide additional housing in the Evansdale area. The development will be located on approximately 7 acres of land just north of University Avenue and located along Harding Avenue and Oakland Street, and stretching along Country Club Road behind the McDonald’s restaurant.

University Place/Parking Garage

University Place, as it will be known, will be a vertical complex (two multi-story buildings) on three acres, and will sit within the boundaries of University Avenue, Grant Avenue, Third Street and Houston Drive.

Milan Puskar Team Auditorium

The tiered meeting room will cover 4,500 GSF and include seating for 150 people. It will be adjacent to the west side coach’s offices.

Art Museum

The new Art Museum will be physically connected to the former Erickson Alumni Center now known as the Museum Education Center.

College Park Redevelopment

The proposed plan is to demolish the buildings at the current site to make room for one-four bedroom, family style, apartments for the university.

Health & Education Building

The new building will border the Evansdale Recreation Fields and will be located adjacent to the Student Recreation Center, creating a wellness precinct on the Evansdale campus. The building will also include the College of Physical Activity and Sports Science.

Law Center1

Law Center Addition

The addition will be constructed on the East side of the Law School toward the Football Stadium. The existing courtyard on the south-side of the facility will be filled in with an event space.

Utilities and Infrastructure

The Evansdale Campus Infrastructure and Utilities project includes upgrades and additions to the campus electric system, domestic water/sanitary system, and the stormwater system.

Presidents House Parking Lot

Short Term Lot #6 Parking Expansion

The parking lot near the water tower will be expanded to allow for the closure of the two parking lots located at the site of the New Agricultural Sciences Building. This addition will allow for 92 short term parking spaces and 77 permit parking spaces.
