New Agricultural Sciences Building Topping out event Sept. 2nd
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. ─Seen as a rite of passage in the building construction business, a topping out party is traditionally held when the structure is ready for the last beam to be placed atop. On Tuesday, September 2nd, contractors from PJ Dick and other WVU officials were on hand to witness the final beam being lifted onto the top of the new Agricultural Sciences building.
The new building will be 128,000 square feet with an unfinished space for future completion of 8,000 square feet. It will be a five story building with a 207,000 GSF located east of the existing building across from Percival Hall.
