Public Private Partnership Project
Contractor: March Westin
Evansdale Crossing is a Public Private Partnership endeavor. This project will create a new student-centered space near the Engineering PRT Station.
With approximately 100,668 GSF, the building is planned to house new study spaces, 4 classrooms, food services, Barnes & Noble, Student Services Spaces (Registrar, Student Accounts and Financial Aid), School of Journalism Innovation Space and other student and faculty amenities. A major goal of the project is to unite the upper and lower parts of the Evansdale Campus by providing elevators and indoor stairs and a connecting bridge to Engineering PRT Station.

A temporary road will be installed on the east end of the Recreation Center (adjacent to the new rec fields) that will provide student and staff access into the Recreation Center parking area once the construction site fence has been set up. There will be no access to the Recreation Center parking lot from Fine Arts Drive. This new access will be used until the Evansdale Crossing Project is completed (Approximately 20 months.)
